Wow, what a great way to learn to Surf and immerse yourself in Spanish Culture.

Visit Mario and Amaya’s Surfshack, right on the Beach!

Fly into Jerez – they’ll pick you up
Stay at the Surfhouse – get a lift to the beach – they live next door or a short walk
The fridge is already stocked up for breakfast
Get to the ultimate Surfshack complete with palm leaf roof, changing area and hammocks
Mario and the Monitors (Surf Coaches) are all qualified and sort you out with wetsuits, boards etc etc
Fernando and Pedro join the Monitor crew, they are all fab with lots of interesting life stories
They are too modest about their English, they’ve all spent time in England and speak well
Head for the beach for a a two hour session on and off the water
    Get wet!
    Head back to the Surfshack
Xavi appears with some lunch (optional)
    Enjoy the atmosphere
Mario and Amaya seem to know everyone in El Palmar so enjoy their company as they arrive at the lunch table. Make sure Miguel takes some photos for you!
    Siesta in the Hamacas
Get back on the water (unlimited board hire if booked into Surfschool)
Relax some more at the Sufshack, visit the small market and cafe bars of El Palmar, hang out in the Surfshack
Head back to the Surfhouse and Xavi re-appears with dinner (optional)
Don’t worry if things don’t run to British time expectations, you get your fill of surf school
    Hot shower in the Surfhouse
Fall asleep – great view from the upstairs window of Trafalgar lighthouse
Do it again the next day!
